Zimmer Biomet Davis has an immediate job opening for a dependable delivery driver to operate a company van safely and efficiently, and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with our customer operations to meet and exceed expectations. 

Delivery Driver Summary

Our delivery drivers, operate a company van that transports Zimmer Biomet Davis products to and from healthcare facilities and prepares instruments and implants for upcoming surgeries on a daily basis. 

Key Accountabilities

• Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of products and packages
• Loads and unloads products between various healthcare facilities and prepares instruments and implants for upcoming surgeries
• Responds to inquiries for the purpose of providing information and/ or direction regarding the status of deliveries
• Maintains vehicle to ensure it’s clean and maintained
• Drives van in a safe manner at all times, always wearing a seat belt
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers and team member

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
• One-year related experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
• Car Insurance (required)
• Understanding of GPS location services
• Basic driving and navigation ability
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including criminal background checks

Physical Requirements

• Report into Zimmer Biomet’s Minneapolis-based office
• Sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required
• Frequently lift and/or move to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80-100 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
