Job Description

Blize Healthcare is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide to join our team. You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility in San Francisco County.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Helping patients care for themselves by teaching them the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, and special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
• Recording patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.
• Enabling patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.
• Provide specialized healthcare such as administering medication and changing bandages.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Positive and patient demeanor.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Experience in home health or hospice is recommended.
