Supply Chain Manager

Bellefontaine, OH

Our client, a Global Automotive Supplier, is seeking an experienced Plant Supply Chain Manager. In this position, you'll be the driving force behind a dynamic and efficient supply chain that keeps production running smoothly. You'll lead the development and implementation of strategic inventory and logistics policies, analyze data to optimize material flow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, production uptime,

and minimized costs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain policies to streamline operations, optimize freight and warehousing, shorten lead times, and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels effectively, balancing optimal stockholding with production needs

and cost minimization, adhering to global inventory best practices.

• Collaborate with suppliers to establish strong relationships, and ensure timely material delivery
• Lead process improvement initiatives within supply chain, streamlining operations and

optimizing material flow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• CPIM or CSCP certification (APICS) desired
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain management
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques (ABC analysis, safety stock calculations, etc.)
• 3+ years planning and scheduling
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Intermediate/Advanced SAP MM, PP, and WM modules experience
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software (e.g., Power BI)
• Knowledge of and proven success implementing Lean/Six Sigma principles
