Job Description

Galvanize Therapeutics is a biomedical platform company operating at the convergence of engineering, biology, and healthcare delivery, aiming to deliver life-changing solutions to patients and their doctors. We design and develop Pulsed Electric Field Systems to achieve meaningful and lasting therapeutic outcomes for patients.

The Clinical Research Data Analyst will be an integral member of the Clinical Affairs team and contributes to the generation of high-impact clinical evidence. This role involves collaborating closely with team members to design and implement tools to analyze and visualize data from clinical studies and associated laboratory analyses, with a strong emphasis on translating datasets into actionable insights that support clinical evidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract data from clinical study databases and develop pipeline for routine data extraction
  • Create and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and validity and that data are ready for analysis
  • Collect, manage and maintain datasets from clinical studies and laboratory analyses
  • Develop and perform analyses appropriate to data and reporting requirements, utilizing applications/programming languages such as Excel, R, Python, SAS, Tableau or other appropriate languages
  • Develop reports, tables, charts and interactive visualizations/dashboards to support clinical study management, cross-functional communication, presentations and publications
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians and clinical scientists to explore endpoints and hypothesis-driven analyses
  • Support clinical study database builds for clinical studies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical science, data management, and regulatory

Key Requirements

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Computer Science, a quantitative discipline such as Statistics or Engineering, or a related field with two years of relevant experience

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in data analysis and visualization applications such as Excel, Graph Pad Prism, Power BI, Tableau and programming languages such as Python, R, SAS
  • Previous experience in clinical research preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation; ability to understand and use computerized databases
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication, and team skills
  • Detail oriented, with solid organization and time management skills. Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with clinical trial data structures, electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and clinical databases preferred
  • Understanding of FDA, GCP, and ISO standards relevant to clinical data preferred

Position Reports To: Director, Clinical Affairs

This role pays between $100,000 and $125,000 per year, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
