School Psychologist

Location: East Greenbush, NY

Position Type: Full-Time (10-month or 12-month, as applicable)

Start Date: 1/5/2026

Job Summary

The East Greenbush Central School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our student support services team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, families, and related service providers to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports in compliance with NYSED regulations
• Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) and other multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
• Support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions
• Assist with behavior assessments, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
• Promote positive school climate and student well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications

• New York State certification as a School Psychologist required
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Strong assessment, report writing, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of special education law and CSE processes in New York State
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Experience in a K–12 setting preferred
