Job Description
Title: Senior Recruiter
Location: Remote - Preference for Minneapolis
Duration: 3-6 month contract to direct
Schedule: 40 Hours
Hourly Rate : $45-55/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback management, and candidate closure.
- Conduct structured candidate evaluations using consistent rubrics and selection criteria.
- Proactively assess hiring needs and create pipelines to support business goals and timelines.
- Continuously improve our recruiting processes and documentation for scalability and efficiency.
- Build robust talent pipelines through direct sourcing, staffing firm partnerships, social media engagement, and innovative outreach strategies.
- Drive automation and process improvement across recruitment and HR functions.
- Collaborate on compensation benchmarking and offer structuring.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support potential future office operations in Minneapolis.
- Contribute to HR projects and help cultivate a dynamic, inclusive company culture.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing.
- Familiarity with ATS/HRIS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for different audiences.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Experience managing confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and sound judgment.
Preferred:
- Experience in fast-paced or high-growth startup environments.
- Background in the energy sector (utilities, energy services, trade contractors).
- Familiarity with tools like Greenhouse, Paycor, Lattice, Slack, and Google Workspace.
