Electrical Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical systems in various commercial projects, including stadiums and high-rise buildings. The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities - Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems in commercial construction projects.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create competitive bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment for each project.
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications - 1+ year proven experience as an electrical estimator in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Experience estimating for stadium and high-rise projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
