Mail Processor – Full-Time

Location: Syosset, NY

Compensation: Up to $55,000 annually

Employment Type: Permanent

What You'll Do:

• Operate high-speed mail inserting machines to process outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor equipment to ensure consistent feeding, folding, and insertion of documents.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues, clear paper jams, and perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with the mailroom team to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals.
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with mailing specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste and recycling.
• Handle mail pickups from the post office and daily end-of-day mail drop-offs as needed.
• Perform daily maintenance on printers, including checking and refilling paper and toner.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating mail inserting equipment is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or mail trays.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlines.
