Job Description

The Junior Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data assets that inform business operations and initiatives. This role works with moderate supervision, takes ownership of assigned analytical tasks, and contributes to projects that improve reporting, insights, and data quality. The position may also provide guidance to peers on basic analytical tasks or tools as experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal stakeholders
• Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and clear outputs
• Support data-related projects or defined workstreams within larger initiatives
• Assist with testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of reporting and analytics solutions
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve issues using established processes and tools
• Collaborate with business and technical partners to understand data needs and deliver insights
• Document data definitions, logic, and reporting processes to support knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Early-career experience in data analysis, analytics, or a related technology-focused role
• Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms)
• Ability to interpret requirements and apply analytical methods to solve business problems
• Familiarity with the data lifecycle, including data preparation, analysis, and reporting
• Comfortable working with some direction while remaining accountable for assigned tasks
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
