RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main goal for the Dispatch Supervisor is to provide excellent customer service to our customers and drivers. The Dispatch Supervisor will serve as a link between our customers and drivers
Efficiently schedule and manage port pick-ups, deliveries to the customer and empty returns within the free time
Deal directly with our customers/drivers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
Respond promptly to inquiries, a mastery of email communication. You keep the inbox at zero unread emails.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
Follow up on customer interactions
Able to suggest improvements to the operations team
Able to communicate clearly
Able to adapt to changes at the last minute
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one (5) years of dispatch operations experience with the port of Houston TX.
Knowledge of Profit Tools preferred
