The Role

As the Dealer Development Manager , you will be the key link between the business and the dealer network, ensuring that partnerships are optimised for mutual success. Your focus will be on supporting dealers, improving their performance, and identifying opportunities to grow market share in their territories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals and key stakeholders.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance analysis to dealer partners.
• Identify underperforming areas within the dealer network and implement development plans.
• Collaborate with dealers to create strategic growth plans, aligned with our business objectives.
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for increased market share.
• Support dealers with sales strategies, training, and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and contractual agreements within the dealer network.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be passionate about building relationships, results-oriented, and commercially astute.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in dealer development, territory management, or a similar role, ideally within material handling.
• Strong understanding of dealer networks and distribution channels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
• Highly motivated, with a track record of delivering growth and improving performance.
• Willingness to travel regularly to visit dealers and customers across the USA.
• Full driving license
