Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary Based on Experience:

  • Project Coordinator (1–2 years): $65,000
  • Project Manager (3–5 years): $70,000 – $80,000
  • Operations Manager (20+ years): Up to $140,000

Must Have's:

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on roofing

Strongly Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
  • 5+ years of construction experience, including commercial roofing
  • OSHA 30 certification

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Project Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle of commercial roofing jobs. This individual will ensure successful execution through effective scheduling, budget management, client coordination, and leadership of project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability
  • Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, contracts, purchase orders, and billing
  • Supervise Project Coordinators and Superintendents to maintain project performance
  • Utilize project management tools and field technologies (e.g., KeyStyle, PlanGrid, QAQC, JHA)
  • Conduct job site visits and attend project meetings to track progress and resolve issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely QA/QC reporting
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
  • Mentor and train junior staff, including Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators
  • Review and approve jobs for invoicing and assist with conflict resolution
  • Process submittals, RFIs, and project documentation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar project management or assistant project manager role in commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and construction processes
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Solid knowledge of construction contracts, submittals, RFIs, and billing
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive projects to completion
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • 5+ years of construction experience, including commercial roofing
