Aviation Project Manager - Road + Civil Infrastructure

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is kicking off a major $$$250 Million road development and civil infrastructure program. We are seeking a dedicated, PMP-certified Project Manager to steer this critical part of the Expansion Development Program (AEDP).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take ownership of the budget, schedule, and execution of the airport's major new roadway and civil infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate extensively with city departments (DSD, Capital Delivery) and airfield operations to ensure seamless execution of groundside work.
• Manage the procurement process for design and construction services (RFQ/RFP), and negotiate major contracts.
• Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and manage the contract change order process for heavy civil and road construction.
• Ensure all road development complies with environmental codes, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 15+ years of progressive experience in managing heavy civil, road development, highway, or major infrastructure projects.
• REQUIRED: Experience in road development and/or airfield (taxiway/runway) civil construction .
• REQUIRED: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or must be obtained within 9 months of hire).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar capital budgets and schedules using tools like Primavera P6 .
• Proven ability to work effectively with government/airport stakeholders and internal teams.
