CLINTON COUNTY ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY
The Clinton County District Attorney’s Office is seeking an Assistant District Attorney candidate to prosecute criminal cases.
This position would include the investigation, preparation and presentations of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases in courts that occur within Clinton County including preliminary proceedings, discovery and motion practice, grand jury presentations and trial work through disposition. Appellate work as assigned.
Applicants must exhibit the ability to work with other attorneys, staff, and the courts in a professional manner. All candidates must demonstrate exemplary ethics, sound judgment and an excellent work ethic. Excellent oral, written and communications skills, as well as research and organization skills are necessary to be successful. Applicants must be interested in a fast-paced work environment.
The salary for the position will be commensurate with experience, $82,849-$113,108/year.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be an attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York in good standing or awaiting admission. The Applicant must have a valid Driver’s License and a vehicle and must be able to drive to and from assigned courts.
