Job Description

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced distribution and logistics environment. In this role, you’ll oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Daily Warehouse Operations

  • Manage and assign daily tasks to warehouse team members to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Log and track daily warehouse activities to ensure operational transparency and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure all operational guidelines and procedures are followed.
  • Provide training, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed to support team performance and adherence to company policies.

Warehouse Inspection & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and injury-free warehouse environment.
  • Ensure adherence to product quality, inventory rotation, and accuracy standards.
  • Oversee shift changes to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient transitions.
  • Monitor and maintain records related to Food Safety Plans, Food Quality Plans, and prerequisite program requirements.
  • Report any food safety or quality issues promptly to management.

Shipping Documentation & Compliance

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of shipping documents and records.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members to ensure proper documentation practices.

Security & Fire Safety

  • Support the Distribution Center Manager with security and fire safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent supervisory experience accepted.
  • 2–4 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions and manage shifting priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with team members and co-supervisors.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities with a focus on problem-solving and operational excellence.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of approximately 9–12 team members.
