Stellar Innovations & Solutions Inc . has an immediate opportunity for a
Visitor Control Specialist to support the Air Force On-Base at Wright-Patterson, AFB in Dayton, OH.
Primary Duties: - Provides Visitor Control support to include creating contractor badges and collecting fingerprints, maintaining safe and door combinations, validating and controlling access to restricted areas/SCIFs, distributing and managing classified courier training, arming and disarming classified spaces, maintaining visitor logs, and controlling issuance and destruction of all media entering and exiting SAPF areas.
- Provides manning the front desk, opening / closing the building, accepting deliveries, checking IDs, providing visitor badges, arranging for escort, and occasionally provides escort services.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Secondary Duties: - Initial point of contact for all visitors to the building.
- Vetting and issuing of visitor badges to qualified building guests.
- Processing requests for building access, by both visitors and in-house personnel.
- Maintaining database in SharePoint of Building Badge Worksheets, to include Visitor Roster spreadsheet.
- Maintain annual training and adhere to PII safeguarding protocols.
- Create, deactivate, and destroy building access badges for in-house personnel, as needed.
- Perform quarterly and ad hoc building badge audits reports, using the Access Control System.
- Primary Base Mail ADO representative, sending and receiving “official” mail and packages.
- Maintain Yearly Mail ADO training.
- Provide guest entry assistance for high-level Distinguished Visitor meetings.
- Assist in giving directions to personnel entering the building for SPIR token creation.
- Perform Opening and Closing security procedures for the building.
- Maintain list of activities performed, monthly submission for Monthly Status Report.
Requirements: - 3+ years of similar experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office Products.
- MUST have a current / active DoD SECRET or higher Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is Mandatory.
