Job Description

:
You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying production tooling and dies during second shift operations. From interpreting blueprints and diagnosing tooling issues to welding and assembling precision components, your expertise will keep our presses running smoothly and our standards high.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool & Die Maintenance: Perform repair and maintenance of progressive, transfer, and hand-feed dies to ensure quality and efficiency.
  
  
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot dies and implement effective repair solutions, using data and operator feedback to guide adjustments.
  
  
• Precision Work: Modify die components using machine tools, welding, and hand-finishing to meet detailed specs and tolerances.
  
  
• Sensor & Component Integration: Install and adjust sensors, guarding, and sprayer systems using diagrams and precision tools.
  
  
• Recordkeeping: Accurately document all maintenance, modifications, and repair activities for second shift operations.
  
  
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with first and third shift teams to ensure continuity, and participate in MTPS and continuous improvement efforts.
  
  
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety and ISO standards, and contribute to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
  
• Completion of a Tool & Die program, apprenticeship, or associate's degree in a relevant field.
  
  
• Proven experience in tooling repair, setup, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Proficient in machine shop operations, welding (MIG), and blueprint reading.
  
  
• Ability to pass written/practical tests to obtain hi-lo and crane licenses.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Compensation details: 33-40 Hourly Wage
