Job Description

Are you the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly? We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and resourceful Temporary Office Manager to be the heartbeat of our client’s creative office. This is a freelance, onsite role Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. This freelance position involves managing front desk operations without phone responsibilities, overseeing door entry, ordering supplies, and maintaining office amenities such as the refrigerator. The role also requires strong organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk area including greeting visitors and controlling door access.
  • Order and maintain office supplies; ensure kitchen and restrooms are stocked and clean.
  • Restore and manage refrigerator contents regularly.
  • Support employee onboarding by coordinating new hire equipment purchases, logging, and delivery.
  • Assist with operational tasks such as receipt collection, shipping label creation, and internal deliveries.
  • Maintain seating charts and coordinate office space organization.
  • Liaise with IT for troubleshooting equipment issues and software errors.
  • Manage vendor relationships including cleaning services, maintenance personnel, and event suppliers.
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling and support company event planning.
  • Provide backup support for executive assistants as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in office management or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with MAC systems preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills, particularly with printers and common office equipment.
