Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maximizing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely and effective technical support to users via various channels, including in-person, phone, chat, and email.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware and software.
Conduct thorough research to identify optimal solutions and best practices.
Advise users on appropriate procedures and best practices to prevent future issues.
Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve POS hardware problems, including requesting replacements and overseeing installation at store locations.
Perform structured cabling tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or education may be considered towards experience requirements.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues..
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Experience with networking is a plus.
General familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
