Job Description

This is a full-time position on salary paying up to $100,000/year. The client works with locations in Oakland, San Jose, Mount Diablo, Concord, Livermore, Fairfield, and Hayward.

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the SLP supports students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with speech and language impairments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams.
• Deliver direct and consultative services in individual and group settings.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes.
• Provide teachers, staff, and families with guidance and resources to enhance student communication in academic settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations, goal setting, and IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CA SLP License/Credential or Eligibility
• Fingerprint Background Clearance
• Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
• School District Experience Preferred
