About Wellbel

Wellbel is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across multiple platforms, with a focus on Instagram, YouTube, a private Facebook community, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand values and business goals.
  • Create and manage content calendars across channels
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Influencer and Retention Marketing for campaigns and activations
  • Own DM and comment management as well as direct outreach
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reporting on social media KPIs
  • Stay current with social media trends and platform updates

Key Platform-Specific Duties

Instagram Management

  • Create visually compelling and on-brand content for feed posts, Stories, and Reels
  • Implement growth strategies to increase followers and engagement
  • Monitor comments and direct messages, responding in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with influencers and brand partners for collaborations

YouTube Strategy

  • Develop a content strategy for our YouTube channel
  • Oversee video production and repurposing process from concept to publishing
  • Optimize videos for search and engagement
  • Analyze video performance and viewer demographics

Facebook Community Building

  • Grow and moderate our private Facebook group
  • Develop engagement strategies to foster meaningful interactions among members
  • Create exclusive content for community members
  • Organize virtual events (webinars, Zoom calls) and own customer surveys

TikTok and Pinterest

  • Develop strategy for TikTok and Pinterest and own channel growth 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on Instagram and YouTube
  • Experience building and moderating Facebook communities
  • Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, video editing, and copywriting)
  • Excellent communication and community management abilities
  • Data-driven approach to strategy development
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TikTok content creation and growth strategies
  • Experience with community building and Facebook groups
  • Experience in wellness, beauty, or related industries
  • Graphic design and video editing capabilities
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization

Work Arrangement

Hybrid position: 2 days in-office (NYC location) and remote for the remainder
