Title : Silkscreen Printing Technician

Location : Near Itasca, IL

Hire Type : Contract to Hire

Shift : 6 pm to 6 am 2/2/3

Pay : $25-$33/hr.

We are seeking a Silkscreen Printing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC servo printers and other machinery to produce high-quality, silk-screened products. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate CNC OMSO servo printers, NOVAX M machines, and other department equipment.
• Prepare screens for artwork and set up machinery for specific SKUs according to production requirements.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy in silkscreened products.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve production goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
• Qualifications:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience:
• Previous experience in silkscreen printing or CNC machine operation preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC servo printers, OMSO servo, and NOVAX M machines is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions for machine setup and operation.
• Basic understanding of artwork preparation and SKU setup for printing.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery and noise.
