We are hiring: Senior S/4HANA ABAP & Fiori Developer (Remote)

Contract: 3 months (extendable up to 12 months)

Role and responsibilities:

• ABAP developer with EWM development experience with 6+ years exp
• Design, develop, and maintain complex ABAP programs, including reports, Rest API, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements, forms (RICEF), Web dynpro.
• Experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming.
• Hands on experience in Workflow and Fiori My Inbox.
• Implement and manage user exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancements using the enhancement framework.
• Proven experience in ABAP for HANA, including CDS views, Fiori elements, AMDP, and ABAP 7.5 syntax.
• Experience in ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP)
• Optimize ABAP code for performance, ensuring efficient execution within the S/4HANA environment.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and best practices.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., R2R, OTC, P2P, PL2PR, EWM) and their integration points.
• Strong knowledge of Fiori, SAP Gateway, and OData services.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain OData services for Fiori apps, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems, ensuring seamless data flow and performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance where necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP UI5 development is a plus.
• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and OData services is a plus.
• Must have very good experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues.
• Should possess knowledge/experience of the following topics and apply them to bring in value and innovation to client engagements:
• SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modelling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, AMDP.
• Experience with analysis tools such as Run time analysis, SQL Trace, code inspector and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit to check the quality of the ABAP code and optimize for SAP HANA.

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead inbound and outbound warehouse processes in a S/4HANA environment.

SAP EWM Consultant

Work location: Peoria Area or Normal IL

Assignment Tenure: 3 months but extendable by another 9 months

Responsibilities:

• Define and establish right size processes to enable productive use of resources
• Configure and maintain SAP S/4 HANA Extended Warehouse Management
• Design and enhance SAP EWM Inbound processes: ASN data receiving, validation, Transportation mgmt., Goods receipt, Putaway bin determination, Putaway, Returns / reverse logistics, Goods receipt optimization, Receipt from production, FIORI Apps
• Configure and Maintain Yard management, Cross docking and Replenishment to Production Line
• Design and implement RFUI, RFID enablement, Quality inspection, GTM integration, Migration tools etc
• Design and implement Interfaces to Manufacturing Execution and Transportation Management systems
• Deploy key processes in SAP EWM Outbound processes: Outbound planning, Shipping Cockpit, Picking bin determination, Route determination, Order deployment, Loading & good issues, Production Supply & Consumption, Sequencing of Parts to Lineside, Kit-to-order, Direct outbound delivery etc

Required Skills:

• Functional EWM resources with 8+ years exp, focus on Inbound receiving, putaway, RF picking & Fiori apps
• Have an expert level background in configuration of SAP EWM module and are familiar with the different Warehousing concepts
• Have deep understanding of Warehouse Processes including Resource Management, Queue Mgmt, VAS etc
• Must have SAP-EWM interface experience with Core SAP-ECC modules like SAP-SD, SAP-LE, SAP-MM, SAP-PP, SAP-QM and SAP-WM
• Communicates effectively – Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear message to different audiences. Fosters open communication with all stakeholders.
• Solution Portfolio Management – Plans, prioritizes, sequences, and manages portfolio of work to maximize delivery of business value
