Job Description

Title: Network Engineer

Location: Irving TX (Hybrid) OR Enon, OH (hybrid) - LOCAL ONLY

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, diagnose, and resolve network issues
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for enterprise network infrastructure
• Work directly with end users to resolve incidents and document actions
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure network reliability
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support when needed
• Ensure cloud network architecture is robust and highly available
• Research and recommend technologies that align with business needs
• Install and configure network hardware and cabling in data centers and offices
• Perform network changes with minimal impact to operations
• Conduct network maintenance and apply necessary upgrades and patches
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date network documentation
• Monitor network performance and plan for future capacity needs
• Take on additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise networks (Cisco, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto preferred)
• 2+ years focused on network design, planning, connectivity, migration, and support
• Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, STP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Professional certifications highly recommended (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP )
