SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Plant Manager

Compensation: $35 - $40/hr

Your Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Maintenance Technician to support the operation and growth of our semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role involves hands-on maintenance of plating equipment, piping, electrical, ventilation, and wastewater systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and reliability. You’ll also help up establish maintenance programs, mentor junior team members, and ensure environmental systems stay compliant and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility systems: pumps, piping, ventilation, electrical, and wastewater.
• Lead equipment troubleshooting and emergency repairs with minimal downtime.
• Maintain documentation for inspections, repairs, and system performance.
• Assist with new equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgrades.
• Monitor and support environmental systems in accordance with internal protocols and external regulations (e.g., EHS, EPA, local codes).
• Partner with outside vendors and contractors when needed and serve as a key technical contact on-site.
• Support and guide junior technicians.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of facility or industrial maintenance experience (preferably in semiconductor, metal plating, or advanced manufacturing).
• Strong mechanical skills with pumps, chemical handling systems, plumbing, and air systems.
• Understanding of HVAC, wastewater treatment, and cleanroom/controlled environments.
• Comfortable with safety procedures related to chemical systems and confined spaces.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Solid communication and collaboration with a desire to support and lead those around you.
• Computer skills with experience in a variety of monitoring and maintenance platforms.
