Senior Project Manager – Federal Construction

A highly respected national general contractor specializing in federal construction projects is seeking an experienced Construction Senior Project Manager. This is a critical role with full P&L responsibility, managing high-profile projects for federal agencies such as NAVFAC, USACE, Veteran Affairs, and others.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of federal construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Perform scheduling and cost estimating to ensure project efficiency.
• Flexibility to travel to project site(s) as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in complex renovation or ground-up projects for federal clients (e.g., Veterans Affairs, NAVFAC, USACE).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skills: Proficiency in scheduling and cost estimation is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annually depending on experience.
