Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Industry Involvement: Attend industry events and meetings, participate in networking opportunities.
  • Estimate Projects: Accurately calculate costs for scaffolding systems using drawings, field measurements, and project requirements.
  • Prepare Proposals: Deliver detailed, well-written, and timely project proposals aligned with company policies and standards.
  • Manage Projects: Plan, schedule, and coordinate labor, material, and equipment for successful project delivery.
  • Foster Relationships: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service.
  • Drive Quality & Safety: Ensure projects meet high standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate: Participate in team and customer meetings to align on project expectations and timelines.
  • Support Future Success: Maintain detailed records of costs, materials, and labor to improve future estimates and outcomes.

Necessary Experience:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred or 4+ years of field construction experience, preferably in scaffolding.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial constructions or industrial environments, with a focus on estimating, project management, or field operations.
  • Prior experience in the scaffold industry is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General construction knowledge.
  • Work independently with support and resources from full Gribbins team.
  • Able to manage complex information with accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments and embraces new processes.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Capable of navigating job sites safely and complying with all safety regulations.
  • Builds lasting relationships through professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Clean driving record and familiarity with defensive driving techniques.
