Pay Range: $40 - $48/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Full-time, Various Shifts (Urgent Care hours typically include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Patient Triage & Assessment: Perform rapid and accurate patient assessments, utilizing critical thinking to prioritize care and identify patient needs. Conduct screenings, obtain vital signs, and document patient histories.
• Clinical Procedures & Care: Assist providers with procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, I&D), administer medications/vaccinations, perform IV starts, and provide wound care. Deliver care plans as directed, applying independent clinical judgment.
• Patient Education & Coordination: Provide clear, timely education to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and home care instructions. Coordinate care and ensure smooth patient flow from check-in to discharge.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff. Participate in performance improvement and uphold a respectful, inclusive clinical atmosphere.
• Emergency Response & Safety: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies within the urgent care setting in a decisive and composed manner. Uphold all safety standards, policies, and infection control protocols.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Urgent Care, Emergency Department (ED) or Fast-Paced Ambulatory Care, BLS, Triage
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required prior to hire. ACLS and PALS are highly preferred and may be required.
• Experience: Experience with direct patient care is preferred. Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care, or a similar fast-paced outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Skills: Excellent clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent time management, and respond calmly to emergencies. Proficiency with basic computer skills and technology is required.
