Which Qualifications Do You Need? In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of…

An Associate's Degree and RN (FL) certified are required.

1+ years of critical care experience required

Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association.

Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

• 3 year(s): Clinical experience as a Staff Nurse in a comparable area.
• A min. of 500 hours of Cardiovascular/Cath Lab experience in hospital that preforms open heart surgery (level 2).

EducationRequired

• Associates or better in Nursing
• High School or better

Preferred

• Bachelors or better in Nursing

Licenses & CertificationsRequired

• L-FL-RN License
• C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
• C-AHA ACLS
