Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, based in White Plains, NY and Cortlandt Manor, NY with the flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and create care plans for patients with mental health conditions, deliver therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and work collaboratively with the care team to ensure comprehensive treatment. Treatments include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Nasal Ketamine. Responsibilities may also include prescribing medication, managing treatments, and providing support to patients and their families.

The role can start out per diem with conversion to full-time over three months time.

Qualifications

• Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner with experience in Mental Health Care
• Solid understanding of Nursing principles and best practices in psychiatric settings
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Ability to effectively manage case loads and maintain thorough documentation
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing or related field; specialized training in Psychiatry preferred
• Knowledge of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice
• Experience with hybrid work arrangements is a plus

Starting pay is $125/hour with conversion to a permanent position after 3 months.
