This role is available for hybrid in Chicago, Tampa & Denver.


Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Project Manager to join their Transformation Management Office (TMO). In this role, you will be responsible for providing oversight and strategic leadership for various business transformation projects, ensuring their successful execution within defined timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess a consulting mindset, with a proven track record in managing complex initiatives within the CPG industry.



Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Review milestones, TMO decks and project updates to track progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies, taking proactive measures to mitigate potential roadblocks
• Conduct capacity planning to optimize resource allocation and ensure project teams are adequately staffed
• Provide guidance and support to project managers, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and synergy across business units
• Assist in capex budgeting and financial planning for transformation projects
• Take a strategic approach to project management, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation

Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on global business transformation or strategic initiatives
• Strong understanding of CPG industry dynamics and market trends
• Consulting background with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Excel; experience with Tempus by ProSymmetry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Flexibility in methodologies, with a preference for agile approaches
• Willingness to travel to Chicago for occasional onsite meetings (approximately monthly)
• Lives in the vicinity of Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, or Denver, CO
