Production Supervisor (Nights)

Albany, Oregon

$70,000–$80,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus + relocation package

Schedule: 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am), non-rotating 3-1-3 schedule

About the Role:

Sergeant Talent Partners is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor for a client in the manufacturing industry . This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-output 24/7 operation. You’ll lead a team of production employees on the night shift, ensuring safety, efficiency, and product quality across all areas of the plant. This position reports directly to the Production Manager and is based in Albany, Oregon .

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee nightly production schedules and adjust operations to meet daily/weekly output goals
• Identify and resolve equipment or production issues with minimal downtime
• Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams
• Lead shift meetings and cross-shift communication
• Drive improvements in productivity, organization, and team morale
• Ensure SOPs, safety procedures, and training programs are in place and followed
• Monitor production inputs/outputs and execute against key performance metrics
• Submit accurate production and downtime reports
• Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
• Approve direct report overtime and help manage labor costs
• Maintain supply inventories and order consumables as needed
• Support internal and external customer service and product quality efforts

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a production or industrial setting
• High school diploma or GED required
• Familiarity with OSHA, dust control, and chemical handling preferred
• Strong communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience a plus
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and manage a production team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move throughout the facility and around heavy machinery
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in high-noise, dusty, or temperature-variable environments
• Standing/walking for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
