Job Description

This role focuses on emergency care, first aid, and the treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses at an employee health center clinic.

Location: Toledo, OH

Schedule:

• Status: PRN (As-needed basis)
• Days: Monday – Friday
• Shift Times:
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Note: Coverage is typically scheduled well in advance.

Pay Rate: $42-44/hr

Role Overview:

• Provide professional nursing care for sick and injured employees.
• Perform and evaluate clinical and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Assist the plant physician with minor surgical procedures.
• Conduct and document employee medical history interviews.
• Collaborate with the Health Services team and other departments to support workplace health initiatives.
• Maintain and update medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform and document physical examinations.
• Adhere to established health and safety protocols.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Support and promote workplace wellness programs.
• Deliver professional and knowledgeable customer service to employees.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license that's in good standing
• Active BLS (American Red Cross or other that requires hands-on course)
• 2 years of RN experience.
• Nursing experience in at least one of the following areas: Occupational Health, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Room (ER/ED) OR Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
