Job Description

North Carolina personal injury firm with a proven track record of high-quality legal services seeks a pre-litigation case manager / paralegal to join our Raleigh team. This position is fast-paced and requires multi-tasking skills. Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Opening insurance claims;
• Drafting and sending of legal correspondence (providers, insurance carriers, employers);
• Preparing demand packages;
• Requesting medical records and billing;
• Preparing waiver and reduction letters;
• Communication with providers and insurance carriers to verify treatment;
• Assisting attorney in managing settlements and preparation of settlement disclosure statements.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of customer service experience;
• Prefer personal Injury experience;
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe;
• Excellent written and verbal communication;
• Ability to demonstrate project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
• Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
