SUMMARY

An experienced attorney is sought to join a dynamic legal team as Senior Counsel for branded products. The role focuses on providing legal support for specialty, branded, and generic pharmaceutical products, particularly in areas of commercialization and market access. The position offers an opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to product launch and promotion strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements including clinical trial, research, master services, and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal counsel on market access strategies and draft contracts for product purchase, supply, distribution, PBM, GPO, wholesaler, rebate/discount, and specialty pharmacy arrangements.
• Advise internal teams on compliance for promotional materials, patient access programs, press releases, and interactions with healthcare professionals and payers.
• Offer guidance on federal and state laws and regulations related to pharmaceuticals, including FDA requirements, anti-kickback statutes, transparency laws, and privacy rules.
• Serve as a key legal advisor on product launch initiatives and collaborate with various business units to support commercialization efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor degree with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience within the branded pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Strong understanding of drug pricing, reimbursement models, and patient support programs in the U.S. market.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills with high ethical standards.
