Job Description

The role is responsible for assisting assigned Carrier Sales Representatives with their day-to-day operations, specifically on specialized high-risk commodities.

This is an on-site position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Hourly rate is $19.24/hr.

What does a typical day look like?

• Organizing and tracking booked loads for carrier reps
• Providing timely updates on critical shipments
• Communicating late deliveries and issue resolution when necessary
• Issuing EFS checks and other customer service-related items
• Posting loads to web services and internal platforms when needed
• Negotiating rates and booking loads if necessary
• Calling carrier partners to help track down POD’s, invoices, and other supporting documents.
• Updating files in Highway when needed

What are we seeking?

• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Logistics experience preferred but not required.
• Exposure to carrier sales process
• Strong phone and written communication skills
• Organized and assertive
• Ability to identify and react to potential issues with confidence and composure.
• Capacity to multi-task
• 6+ months experience in customer support/operations
