Job Description

Pride Health is hiring for a Hem/Onc Clinic RN for one of our clients located in Spring, TX! (Contract)

Schedule: Mon-Fri (8am-5pm)

Contract: 3 months

Pay Rate: 50-55/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs in-person/telephone triage, message taking, patient rooming/discharging, and accurate EMR documentation (including EPIC).
• Prepares pre-clinic charts by gathering labs, radiology reports, pathology, and prior medical records; follows test-result reporting policies.
• Implements and evaluates plans of care; assesses for chemo/radiation toxicities, medication side effects, and overall patient well-being.
• Provides verbal and written patient education on disease processes and symptom management; advocates for patients and prioritizes urgent needs.
• Administers immunizations, medications, and IV therapies safely, including starting peripheral IVs.
• Maintains confidentiality, completes clinical logs, assists with scheduling and medical record scanning, and collaborates across the healthcare team.
• Upholds policies on informed consent, advanced directives, and patient rights; communicates key information to leadership and pursues ongoing professional development.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)
• Hem/Onc experience preferred
