Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Core Lab at a renowned facility in Salisbury, MD. This is a night shift generalist role with a focus on blood bank and full lab coverage.

• Location: Salisbury, MD 21801
• Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)
• Schedule: 8-hour night shifts, variable start/end times | 40 hrs/week guaranteed
• Distance Rule: Must live outside 100 miles of Salisbury, MD
• Certifications Required: ASCP (or eligible) + BLS (AHA only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a generalist across all core laboratory disciplines on the night shift
• Perform blood bank testing including antibody identification
• Operate hematology, urinalysis, and chemistry analyzers including:
• Beckman Coulter DxH 900, DxU/Ax
• SMS
• CellaVision
• Epic Beaker LIS system

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital lab setting
• Strong skills in hematology and urinalysis
• ASCP certification (or eligibility) required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Must be willing to float to other laboratory departments as needed
• Must not reside within 100 miles of the facility
