Pride Health is seeking a dedicated Med Tech - Team Leader to join a dynamic healthcare team in Huntersville, NC 28078. In this role, you will perform laboratory analyses on received specimens, providing critical clinical information for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Job Summary

The Med Tech - Team Leader will perform laboratory analyses on received specimens, providing critical clinical information for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. This role is responsible for maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety in all technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses following established procedures, adhering to quality assurance guidelines.
• Document corrective actions for non-conforming events.
• Prepare reagents and maintain adequate inventory to reduce waste and manage departmental expenses.
• Exercise clinical judgment to assess priorities and troubleshoot technical issues through appropriate channels.
• Assist with reviewing and revising documentation and procedures to meet regulatory standards (e.g., CAP, TJC, OSHA).
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts and with leadership regarding patient care and operational matters.
• Participate in departmental planning, staff meetings, and competency assessments.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be ASCP-registered as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and problem-solving techniques.

Skills:

• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and laboratory safety standards.
• Ability to document and resolve non-conforming events.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information:

• Location: Huntersville, NC 28078
• Schedule: Night Shift (7pm - 730am)/ 40 hours/week.
• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Pay Rate: $23.65 - $35.50/hour (based on experience)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
