Experienced US High School Math Teacher for SAT/ACT Tutoring for IN-PERSON Tutoring in Mahopac, NY 10541
Well-established tutoring company founded in 2009 seeking part-time tutors to do small group SAT & ACT prep in person in the Mahopac, NY area. Seeking candidates who can tutor between 2 and 10 hours per week, after school, evenings, and/or weekends.
REQUIRED: Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree, at least 4 years of SAT/ACT prep , and at least 4 years of CLASSROOM TEACHING EXPERIENCE in a US high school where you have taught Algebra 2 or higher, have full knowledge of math concepts and test-taking strategies, and must be engaging and upbeat. Teachers who have not taught a course higher than Algebra 1 or Geometry or those who have not taught or tutored SAT/ACT need not apply.
