Job Description

Coastal Machine & Supply is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our precision machining team. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong manufacturing background who can take ownership of finalizing work orders and creating manufacturing plans that drive efficiency, precision, and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do

• Finalize work orders and manufacturing plans for CNC machining operations.
• Define machining operations, assign work to machines, and determine tooling/inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with programming, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
• Assist with CNC programming and creation of internal shop drawings.
• Optimize scheduling and resource utilization to meet customer deadlines.
  

• 10+ years of machining experience in turning and milling.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (ProShop ERP experience a plus).
• CAD/CAM or CNC programming experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship Required
