Job Description

Handsome Homebuyer is one of Long Island’s fastest-growing real estate investment companies. We acquire, renovate, build, and sell properties with speed, precision, and pride.

We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, and customer-focused individual who can own the first conversation and set the stage for closed deals. Your ability to connect with clients, identify their needs, and communicate our value proposition will be essential in helping us expand our reach and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and are eager to make an impact at a dynamic organization, we welcome you to apply!

Ideal Candidate Mindset

You treat every lead like gold. You hate losing more than you love winning. You know how to push deals forward, read sellers, and make the close happen. You thrive when the stakes are high and competition is fierce.

Role Overview

As the Lead Intake Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for all inbound leads. Your mission: build rapport quickly, uncover motivation, and ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks. You’ll manage the entire lead flow from answering inbound calls to persistent follow-up and hand off qualified prospects to our acquisitions team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on phone conversations, consistent follow-up, and excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for incoming leads, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer and manage all inbound leads via phone, web, and referrals.
  • Qualify leads by gathering key details about the property, motivation, and timeline to sell.
  • Build rapport and trust with homeowners during the first conversation.
  • Maintain a structured follow-up cadence with leads via phone, text, and email.
  • Ensure all lead activity is updated, tracked, and documented in the CRM (Podio/Salesforce) and Asana.
  • Set qualified appointments for Field Sales Representatives.
  • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to achieve weekly and monthly performance targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or lead intake.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills via phone, text, and email.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Disciplined with CRM updates (continuously updating Salesforce records, and timely follow-ups).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable handling rejection and overcoming customer objections.
  • Competitive individual contributor with a “hunter” mentality: persistent, resilient, and driven to win every lead.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • Generous 4 weeks of paid time off
  • Company-paid holidays
  • Homebuyers Assistance Program
  • Career growth, professional development, and learning opportunities
  • Join a high-performing, motivated, fast-paced sales team

Compensation: $20.00 per Hour + Commission

This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $20.00 per hour plus commission .

  • Estimated total annual earnings: $80,000–$90,000 (based on performance).

Selection Process

The application process begins with a brief initial phone interview for qualified candidates, followed by a short assessment to evaluate skills and role fit. Finalists will then participate in a collaborative panel interview with key team members.
