The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy with all product types throughout the facility. This role requires an understanding of cycle count procedures to ensure that goals for location, item, and financial accuracy are consistently maintained. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results to suggest permanent corrective actions.
• Maintain records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily.
• Establish and execute cycle count schedule. In addition, perform cycle counts for assigned locations or items as directed by Procurement dept.
• In coordination with the Procurement Manager, determine disposition of damaged and/or expired products, including any possible recouperation of costs.
• Coordinate and conduct process audits to document inventory accuracy in the following areas: receiving, put away, picking and staging.
• Issue materials to jobs during production and after shipping. This includes investigating and resolving issues with bill of material requirements vs. on hand inventory discrepancies.
• Regularly evaluate and recommend stock levels and safety stock of raw materials and purchased components, including parts on a VMI (vendor managed inventory) program.
• Maintain all inventory areas throughout facilities by organizing and ensuring best in class material handling and storage practices.

Requirements:Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years' experience of inventory/warehouse responsibilities
• Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to identify errors to the single digit or letter
• Good computer skills including ERP/MRP experience (M1 a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compensation details: 22-25 Hourly Wage
