Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Install Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Lenexa, KS . The primary role of this position is to install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems under the supervision of a senior installer or supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
• At least 3 years of experience (ideally 5+ years)
• Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Familiarity with local/national codes.
• Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures in English.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Any certifications related to experience.
• OSHA 10 Cert. NICET Certified. Lift Cert or MEWP. Low voltage experience. Alarm License.
• 5+ years of commercial experience with one of the following: fire alarms, alarms, radio, CCTV, security, cameras, or burglar systems.
• Product knowledge of devices such as Honeywell, DMP, Bosch, Kityhoka , EST, or others.

Job Description

• Install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems.
• Provide reliable, high-quality customer support. Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
• Perform system testing and signal verification.
• Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Conduct new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Organize and utilize technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient task execution.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Compensation: $25/hr to $30/hr.

Duration: 6M Contract-To-Hire

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
