Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. Position Description
Reporting to the Chief of Community Services, the full time, non-exempt Health Educator works to implement health education, prevention, promotion and harm reduction efforts with Honor Community Health’s patients, particularly with children and adolescents served by Honor’s school-based health centers. The Health Educator is responsible for building relationships with students, principals, teachers, parents and other school personnel in order to identify/develop and implement health education and prevention programming. Physical office will be located at the Pontiac High School Child and Adolescent Health Center

This position is for our School-based Health Center. Our standard hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

  • Previous experience with working in education, healthcare, community-based or human service settings.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
