Job Description

Beacon Hill's client, a well-known accounting firm is searching for a temporary Contracts Administrator with Federal Contracts experience specifically in FARS/DFARS contracts.

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Approximately 5 months
  • Location: Remote, but candidates must be open to working EST or CT hours
  • Hours: 40 per week

Job Description: Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements
  • Experience with government contracts specifically in FARS/DFARS contracts
  • Ensure contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal counsel, sales, and procurement teams, to gather necessary information and ensure contract terms meet business objectives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, including tracking key milestones, deliverables, and obligations
  • Identify and address any contract-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist in resolving contract disputes or conflicts, if they arise
  • Coordinate with external parties, such as vendors or clients, to obtain necessary approvals and signatures
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to contract management
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience and be familiar with government contracts. Must be skilled with data entry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contract Specialist, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in contracts
  • Proficient in contract management software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with different types of contracts and their specific requirements (e.g., procurement contracts, service agreements, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
