GE Proficy MES Consultant
Milwaukee (Onsite Role)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Exhaustive technical knowledge and experience in design & development of GE Proficy MES applications OPC interfaces, SQL data bases and scripting
Hands on experience with GE Proficy is a must!
Responsible for the day-to-day development, enhancement, and implementation of GE Proficy Manufacturing Suite products
Should be able to help team in resolving issues related to development, rollout, enhancements
Should be able to do effective communication with other teams, customers, and third-party vendors
Should have been part of MES deployment (for entire SDLC) which includes experience in planning, designing, architecting, configuring, developing, testing, implementation, integration with other applications, deployment, multi-site roll out, Support, etc.
GE MES Suite
Proficy Plant Application, Historian, IGS, Kepware,SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), .NET scripting,
Communication SkillFunctional
Good understanding of Battery Manufacturing processes
Good understanding of MESA, ISA95, etc.
Good understanding of the manufacturing processes used in discrete industry and relevant IT systems.
Exposure to functions such as Inventory, Quality, Order Management, Plant Performance, etc.
Experience in understanding Business and Automobile specific KPI’s.Technical
Experience in Supporting, configuring & deploying GE Proficy MES suite for Automobile Industries
Experience on any of the historians & DB’s like SQL, etc.General
Experience in managing MES Implementations, Global Roll out.
Ability to work with cross functional and cross-cultural teams successfully."

Experience in other MES system like Apriso.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Desire to work in an IT system environment.

Looking for a highly technical leader. Needs to be hands-on about 50-60% of the time.
Extensive exp, targeting 8-10 years of hands on exp
