Job Description

Fund Accounting Manager – Greenwich – Connecticut

Our client is a leading Global Fund Manager, focusing on investments into environmental infrastructure, private equity and alternative markets and projects globally.

They have recently launched a new office in Greenwich, Connecticut and are keen to secure the services of a strong Fund Accounting Manager to join the firm, someone with a strong background across Private Equity structures in particular.

Some or the role will focus on the below.

  • Analyse and evaluate current operational set up and ensure robust procedures are identified and implemented – NAV Oversight, Investment Monitoring, financial reporting, Custody & Depositary oversight as well as all other operational and fund administration duties that develop and arise.
  • Lead an initial team of 1 – Investment Administrator and then growing further.
  • Act as the designated person for all operations queries and issues within the business locally
  • Manage internal and external relationships accordingly.
  • Act as the “Go To” in relation to new regulatory implications and ensure processes are aligned and redesigned correctly.

On offer and What we are seeking:

You will have gained at least 10 plus years’ experience in a Fund Administration/Accounting with at least 2/3 of those years in a Leadership or Management capacity. A Tertiary qualification within Finance and or business would be beneficial as would further study across the sector.

You will be keen to join an active Fund Manager who has multiple Investments across a number of asset classes in the US, one that is growing rapidly within an ESG and Sustainability context from an Investment Management perspective.
