Job Description

Overview

McKesson’s Provider Solutions is undergoing a major digital transformation to deliver a personalized, integrated experience for patients, providers, and manufacturers. As part of this journey, we are seeking a Full Stack Architect to lead the evolution of our e-commerce Customer Center application.

This is a hybrid role requiring both architectural leadership and hands-on development. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java, GWT, SAP NetWeaver, and cloud technologies, with a strong grasp of non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as scalability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Design: Lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack systems. Define and document architecture patterns, NFRs, and system integration strategies.

Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to coding efforts, especially in Java, GWT, and NetWeaver-based modules.

Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of offshore and onshore developers. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, QA, and DevOps to align technical solutions with business goals.

Innovation & Standards: Drive adoption of modern technologies and architectural best practices. Create POCs and starter kits to accelerate development.

Production Support: Assist in resolving production issues and customer-impacting incidents with urgency and precision.

Recruitment: Participate in hiring and technical evaluations for new team members.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, especially Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience with integration platforms like Mulesoft or Informatica is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
