Location: Remote (with option for in-person in NYC if applicable)

Duration: Mid-September – December (Christmas Break)

Commitment: Part-time Internship (20–30 hours per week)

Compensation: $5,000 – $6,000 for the full internship period

The Role

We are seeking a Finance & Culture Research Intern to join our team this fall. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in finance, journalism, and culture. You will dive deep into financial trends, news, and cultural shifts, and help us translate them into accessible, creative, and engaging content for our social media platforms.

You’ll be researching, writing, and ideating around what’s happening in money and culture—from market trends and policy changes to cultural moments that shape the way people think about wealth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on financial markets, trends, and cultural shifts.
• Write short-form content, social media posts, and research summaries that make finance relatable and engaging.
• Track breaking finance news and identify cultural connections for MBG360’s platforms.
• Support the creative team in developing content calendars and campaign ideas.
• Assist in creating visuals and presentations using tools like Canva.
• Provide editorial support for newsletters, social media captions, and cultural commentary.
  

Qualifications

• Background or strong interest in journalism, finance, economics, or communications .
• Strong research and writing skills with an eye for detail.
• Passion for connecting finance to culture (sports, music, fashion, entertainment, etc.).
• Creative mindset with ability to pitch fresh ideas for content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) and digital content.
• Canva, graphic design, or video editing skills are a plus.
  

Time Commitment

This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week , with the possibility of up to 30 hours per week , depending on availability and workload.

Compensation

The internship offers a stipend of $5,000 – $6,000 for the full program (mid-September through December).
